Cities on line series
dimensions variable
This series adopts the form of a performative photographic survey in which I take a "single point perspective" photography sample. Single point perspective is an important landscape composition concept in the construction of modern cities. The infinite extension of street scene between buildings challenging the sky: creating a a corridor through time and space, making people small.
The number of photographic images depend on the number of existing subway stations. Then each image is abstracted and combined in a photomontage. All these bands reveal that "artificial perspective" as symbol of the urban landscape and a symbolic mathematical rational logic.
