We launched our book yesterday, called Bangkah, through everyday at U-mkt in Wanhua, with the presence of Kuang-yi Chen, art historian and professor at the National Taiwan University Of Arts and Duncan Mountford, artist and professor at TNUA and NTUA. Thank you to everyone who came !
The book originated from the exhibition we made last year at U-mkt, from which we collected informations and wrote about the Wanhua district and the Xinfu traditional market. It is composed with researches about the history of Wanhua, oldest district in Taipei, testimonies from wandering around the district, transcriptions of discussions made with the Xinfu market' vendors and other looks about Wanhua.
